...recommended by a musician friend of mine, I went and got this CD by Megan Fogarty. I tend to realize the value I place on any album (OK-CD!) by the amount of time it spends in my car CD changer. If I don't want to give up its' slot for something else, then that ultimately tells me it's a keeper. That's happened infrequently over the years - and, those CDs that I don't want to take out seem to end up being constant companions. I didn't expect it to happen with this one, but it actually has ended up getting under my skin. Can't stop listening to "In Too Deep" among others. I'm impressed that she plays (very well)- as well as sings. Other random thoughts: Lyrics are intelligent, - Clean crisp production - nice lineup. I wish there could've been more than 8 tunes. Look forward to the sophomore effort from this one.
